The cheapest email validation services in 2026, compared
Pay-as-you-go prices for ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, Kickbox, Bouncer, Clearout, Verifalia, MillionVerifier and Bytecheck at 5k to 1M emails.
Short answer
At every list size from 5,000 to 1,000,000 emails, Bytecheck costs 2–3× less than the cheapest well-known competitor. A 100,000-email list costs $62 on Bytecheck versus $149 on MillionVerifier and $400+ on NeverBounce, Bouncer or Clearout.
Prices below are public pay-as-you-go list prices checked in October 2026. Vendors change them often, so always confirm on their pricing pages.
How we compared
We used one-time credit packs, not monthly subscriptions, because most teams clean lists in bursts. We compared the same volumes across vendors and divided by 1,000 to get a per-1k price.
Where a vendor has no pack at a given size, we left it blank instead of guessing.
What actually drives the price
Email verification costs are mostly SMTP infrastructure: IP reputation, proxies and retry capacity for slow mail servers. Vendors with large sales teams and brand marketing price higher to cover those costs, not because checks are more accurate.
Bytecheck runs on Bytemine's data infrastructure, which already does this at scale for enrichment, so we pass the savings on.
Hidden costs to watch for
Credits that expire after 12 months, charging for duplicate rows, charging for 'unknown' results, and minimum spend on API access. Bytecheck credits never expire, duplicates are removed before you are charged, and failed checks are refunded.
Fair questions. Straight answers.
The fine print. In normal-sized print.
What is the cheapest email verification service?
Based on public prices checked in October 2026, Bytecheck is the cheapest at every volume we compared — from $9 for 5,000 emails to $225 for 1,000,000.
Is cheap email validation less accurate?
Not necessarily. Accuracy depends on SMTP checks, catch-all handling and infrastructure, not on price. Test any vendor on a sample list where you already know the outcome.
